The largest private sector lender of the country, ICICI Bank has introduced a HIndi version of its website.

"We have launched the Hindi version of the personal banking pages on our website to offer our customers the power to use technology for convenient banking," the bank's chief executive and managing director, Chanda Kochhar, said after the launch of the website in Jaipur.

The bank's launch comes within just a few months of acquiring Bank of Rajasthan (BoR).

The merger achieved completion in August after having recerived all required approvals from governing bodies like Reserve Bank of India. As a result of the merger, ICICI Bank could add 458 branches to its kitty and over 20 lakh customers.

The bank's official website presently happens to be ranked amongst the top 10 most visited banking and financial websites of the world.

The Hindi version of the website would offer all major details like money transfer, bill payment, open fixed deposits and placing requests for different types of services, it added.
