Public sector lender IDBI Bank has inked deal with the Indian Army for offering personalized salary accounts to defence personnel.

The two entities have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard.

As per the deal, the bank would also be setting up ATMs and branches at centers approved by the Indian Army for the benefit of the defence personnel.

Special officers have been assigned by the bank for these branches who would be catering to the needs of the customer segment.

Salary accounts will be opened for Army people without any commission being charged for the same.
