IOB receives Skoch Financial Inclusion Award

Public sector lender, Indian Overseas Bank has been rewarded for its financial inclusion drive in southern belt of the country. The bank has received the Skoch Financial Inclusion Award.

It has worked commendably to make the villages in the Western Ghats and Kaani Kudiyirrupu, Papanasam in Tirunelvelli District financially literate.

The Skoch awards aim at rewarding and appreciating the work done by organizations to promote inclusive growth of the country along with steps to eradicate poverty and bring the backward classes at par with the rest of the society.
