Kotak Mahindra Bank opens new branch at Kozhikode

Private sector lender, Kotak Mahindra Bank has opened a branch in Kozhikode, thereby taking a step to widen its presence in Kerala.

With the launch of this new branch, the branch count of the bank in the State has risen to four. The other three branches are located in Kottayam, Kochi and Thrivananthapuram.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. C Jayaram, Executive Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank said, 'As a Group, we see tremendous potential in Kerala. In the recent past, Kerala has seen a significant growth in Commerce, IT & ITES sectors', he said.

The new branch of the bank would provide all the basic offeings of the bank like savings accounts, term deposits and loans as well as investment options.

Currently the bank has a branch network of 263 and more than 555 ATMs in the country.
