NRI deposit rates revised by UBI

Public sector lender Union Bank of India has declared a revision in interest rates of term deposits for NRIs.

The interest rate revision has been observed in both foreign currency as well as rupee term deposits.

The five year dollar deposit will now attract a depositor an interest of 1.71% as against 1.77% earlier.

The same deposit in British pound (GBP) will have interest of 2.56% as compared to 2.65% earlier.

The deposit in Euros having tenor between 1-2 years will now fetch the depositor an interest of 1.91% as compared to 2.43% earlier.
