SBH introduces retail sale of gold coins for Diwali

Public sector lender, State Bank of Hyderabad has started selling gold coins marking the festival of Diwali.

"The coins will be available in weight range of 2gms,4gms and 8gms with attractive pictures of Goddess Lakshmi, Lakshmi and Ganapathi and Charminar," SBH Managing Director Renu Challu said.

The coins will be available in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Nizamabad in Andhra Pradesh, Aurangabad and Mumbai in Maharashtra, Delhi, Bangalore and Gulbarga in Karnataka, Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and Kochi in Kerala.

Bank officials said that the bank has been able to sell gold worth 1.20 kgs in the very first day.
