Liquidity scenario in the Indian economy would be reviving from the pressure and return to normal levels by end of this month, said O P Bhatt, Chairman of State Bank of India. Earlier, Bhatt had said that the 20% target for credit growth was very much achievable in this financial year. Bankers have recently appealed to the banking regulator RBI not to raise the cash reserve ratio (CRR) in the monetary policy review coming on July 27. Bankers feel doing so would further increase pressure on margins of banks.
