SBT gets new MD in Nanda Kumaran

Public sector lender State Bank of Travancore has appointed Mr P Nanda Kumaran as the new managing director of the bank.

Kumaran has been associated with the State Bank group since the start of career as a probationary officer in State Bank of India way back in 1975.

During his journey so far with SBI, he has held posts of Assistant General Manager at the Treasury Department, Mumbai; President and Chief Executive Officer, SBI, at Toronoto, Canada; General Manager, Networks I and II at Bhubaneswar; and Chief General Manager, Personal Banking Unit, NBG Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Presently he was working as chief general manager of the Ahmedabad Circle of SBI.
