State Bank of India's subsidiary, State Bank of Travancore has revised its interest rates for Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR) deposits with effective from February 3rd, 2013.

The revised rates of FCNR deposits in US dollars will be 2.78 (in percentage figure) for a period of one year to less than two years. For two to less than three years the interest rate will be2.43 per cent,3.56 per cent for three years to less than four years, 3.77 per cent for four years to less than five years and 4 per cent for five years.

For FCNR deposit sin Pound sterling, the rates will be 2.98 (in percentage figure) for a period of one year to less than two years. For two to less than three years the interest rate will be 2.76 per cent, 3.87 per cent for three years to less than four years, 4.00 per cent for four years to less than five years and 4.19 per cent for five years.

For Euro corresponding rates will be 2.50, 2.69, 3.84, 4.00 and 4.17 per cent.
