Vijaya Bank modifies interest rates for FCNR deposits

The Bangalore headquartered Vijaya Bank has changed the interest rates that it is offering on FCNR (B) fixed deposits. The revised rates have been made effective from January 1, 2013.

The revised rates for term deposits having maturity period of one to less than two years is - CAD 3.95 per cent, €2.44 per cent, £3.01 per cent, AU$5.68 per cent and $2.84 per cent.

Similarly, the rates for two to less than three years deposits have been modified to - CAD 3.41 per cent, $2.41 per cent, AU$4.85 per cent, £2.72 per cent and €2.39 per cent.

The interest rates earned by fixed deposits of maturity three years to less than four year period is - , CAD 4.48 per cent, €3.48 per cent, £3.78 per cent, $3.49 per cent and AU$5.97 per cent.

For deposits of four years to less than five years tenure, the interest rates have been revised to - CAD 4.58 per cent, €3.62 per cent, £3.90 per cent, $3.64 per cent and AU$6.18 per cent.

For deposits of more than five years period - CAD 4.69 per cent, $3.83 per cent, £4.04 per cent, AU$6.30 per cent and €3.78 per cent.
