The largest lender of the country, State Bank of India has orrganized a credit camp in Patna for dairy famers in order to mark "World Milk Day". The camp was attended in huge numbers by farmers from neighbouring areas. The MD of Patna Dairy Project, Sudhir Kumar Singh appreciated SBI's endeavors to support the dairy industry. He also extended full support to the bank in its future endeavors. Dairy loan worth Rs. 95 lakhs was sanctioned to as many as 102 farmers. The occasion was presided by S K Singh, AGM (AGL), LHO, Patna. Senior officials of SBI namely Saloni Narain, A Banerjee and Biren Singh were also found attending the camp.
