Green channel counter by SBI in BHU

The largest lender of the country, State Bank of India has initiated a new green channel counter in Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Green channel counter is an eco friendly drive initiated by the bank in order to encourage paperless banking facilities.

The counter was inaugurated by director of BHU, Mr K P Singh. According to assistant manager of the branch, Mr S B Lal, the bank is rapidly introducing this facility across all its branches in the city.

Now customers will no longer have to fill forms for any transaction.
