HDFC Bank gets i-banking head in Rakesh Singh

Private sector lender, HDFC Bank has announced the appointment of Mr Rakesh Singh as Chief of the investment banking arena of the lender.

 

Prior to this appointment, Singh was working as the Managing Director and Co-Head of Financing Advisory at Rothschild.

His role as i-banking head will include loan syndication, project financing, corporate finance and advisory and debt and equity capital markets business.

He would be reporting to executive director, Harish Engineer.

The 17 year career of Singh includes his association with Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Investment Bank.
