IndusInd Bank aims to increase branch count by 150 by 2012

Private sector lender IndusInd Bank has laid ambitious plans of opening as many as 150 branches all over the country by the next fiscal. This would take the branch count of the bank to more than 450.

"IndusInd Bank plans to touch 450 branches in India by March 2012," read a release by the bank.

The bank's prime focus for this fiscal will be on distribution, branch expansion as well as offering universal bankign solutions.

"The bank is stepping up its branch expansion momentum and this branch will be one more step in our journey to become a universal bank. The focus for us will be to provide unique banking experience to our customers," CMD of the bank, Mr Ramesh Sobti said.
