IndusInd Bank expands its presence in Bangalore

New Delhi: IndusInd Bank has inaugurated its fourth branch in Bangalore. Located at "Marathahalli", which looked like a sleepy village on the outskirts of Bangalore, few years back and now promising to be an important residential and commercial center of Bangalore, this branch will definitely strengthen the presence of the bank in this area.

IndusInd Bank's Executive Vice-President & Head (Wholesale Banking Group) J Moses Harding said, "With our technology, and customised products and services, we are confident in meeting the banking needs of the public in this part of the city."

Deriving its name from the Indus Valley civilization, IndusInd Bank was the brain child of Mr. Srichand P. Hinduja, a leading Non-Resident Indian businessman and head of the Hinduja Group. The bank was formally inaugurated in April 1994 by Dr. Manmohan Singh, Honourable Prime Minister of India who was then the country’s Finance Minister. The bank was  started with a capital base of Rs.1,000 million.

Catering to a wide range of banking operations, IndusInd Bank provides great personal banking services. It offers various bank accounts to an individual, which include Regular Savings Bank, Indus Easy Savings Account, Demat Account, RFC Account, Premium Current account and Premium Savings account.

In addition to bank accounts, IndusInd Bank offers various deposit schemes to its personal banking customers. These include Flexi Term Deposit, Two-in-One Deposit, Sweep - In / Sweep - Out Deposit, Monthly Income Plan, Young Saver Deposit, Senior Citizen Deposit Scheme, Regular Recurring Deposit and  Flexi Recurring Deposits. IndusInd Bank Fixed Deposits can be opened by Individuals, HUFs, Sole Proprietorships, Partnership Firms, Ltd. Companies, Guardians on behalf of Minors, Societies, Clubs, Trusts and Associations. These fixed deposits have wide ranging tenures from 15 days to 10 years. The minimum amount that can be deposited is Rs. 10,000 with no upper limit. There is a reduction in minimum amount for senior citizens, who can open a fixed deposit with just Rs. 5,000.

Apart from various deposit schemes IndusInd Bank also offers Personal loan, Home loan, Small Business Loan, Two-wheeler Loan, Commercial Vehicle Loan, Construction Equipment Loan, Loan Against Shares, Loan Against Property, Loan Against Rent Receivables, Loan Against Mutual Funds, Credit Against Specific Securities and Traders Advances these  retail loans are characterized by simple paperwork and fast processing.
