Kotak Mahindra has entered into a pact with Russian investment bank, Renaissance capital, to advise cross-border transactions.

Kotak, with a strong financial services platform, said that the tie-up will facilitate the M&A deals between India and Commonwealth of Independent states and Africa.

"We have built up an integrated platform for financial services. I believe that financial services would provide a quantum of opportunities for the bank, moving ahead," Kotak Mahindra Bank's Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Uday Kotak said.

Kotak said that with recovery in the domestic and global arena, India-related inbound and outbound M&A deals were slated to increase.

Set up in 1995, Renaissance capital is a part of Renaissance group that operates in areas like investment banking, merchant banking, asset management and consumer finance.

Recently the bank has launched special home loan offers including a loan product at a fixed rate of 8.49% p.a. for 30 months (from the date of disbursement of the loan), and subsequently, the applicable floating rate for the balance term.
