There have been evident job switches amongst senior employees in the recent times. The churn is visible in both domestic as well as foreign banks. Standard Chartered Bank recently hired four executives in top position from Anand Rathi. The four new entrants include CEO of Anand Rathi, Ratnesh Kumar, along with Rajesh Mayani, Dheeraj Agarwal and Narayan Mulchandani. Ratnesh Kumar will look after the equities division of the UK based bank. Amongst other switches include Manish Popat who has left Citigroup Capital Markets to join JP Morgan. Popat served Citigroup for 10 years. He was director of sales trading while resigning. At the same time Chetan Patni has left JP Morgan to join HSBC as MD and Head of sales trading. The year has seen some of the biggest changes in the top executives of banks: P J Nayak has moved from Axis Bank to Morgan Stanley India; Vedika Bhandarkar has joined Credit Suisse India from JP Morgan. Vedika was with JP Morgan for around 12 years, and Sonjoy Chatterjee has joined Goldman Sachs India as managing director and chief executive officer after quitting ICICI Bank.
