Public sector lender Punjab National Bank has appointed Ms Usha Ananthasubramanian as new executive director (ED) of the bank.

Ms Ananthasubramanian holds her newly held position from her previous post as general manager with Bank of Baroda, another public sector lender.

Having experience of nearly3 decades in the banking industry, she has worked in several positions in these 29 years of her career.

She started her career in February 1982 with Bank of Baroda as specialist officer of planning team.

She takes over the position of Mr M. V. Tanksale in PNB. He has moved to become CMD of Central Bank of India recently.
