State Bank of India has planned to disburse home loan of Rs 250 crore this festive season. The bank has set a target for the loan disbursal this time. Bank wants to disburse nearly Rs 250 crore everyday.

The Home loan disbursal is rising steadily. Earlier it was merely Rs Rs 130 crore in the beginning then it increased to Rs 150 crore then to Rs 175 crore and has now stabilized at Rs 188 crore a day. This time the bank has finalized a challenging target of Rs 250 crore. Most of the loans demand is under Rs 50 lakh. Above Rs 75 lakh there is just 12 per cent. Bank want to improve it, and in order to do bank has also brought down interest rates on par with the other segment.
