Private sector lender, YES Bank's founder and CMD, Rana Kapoor has started thinking about his suitable successor to business from now. In order to carry forward his aim of making and running the bank on a professional line, he said that he would ideally be succeeded by one of the existent top leaders of the bank. "The idea is to make Yes Bank the professional bank of India and therefore one of our existing leaders would take up the top post," Kapoor said. He clarified that, "most certainly it will not be a family member because in this business, you cannot get family involved." Of Kapoor's three daughters, one is working in the bank as management trainee now. The promoter and group has 26% share holding in the bank. Regarding expansion plans, the bank wants to increase its branch count to 1000 by 2015. Its prime focus now lies in sectors like agriculture, life sciences, infrastructure and other sunrise industries.
