Private sector lender Dhanlaxmi Bank is in a tight situation with its own employees charging it for adopting window dressing practices in its book of accounts.

The lender has said that it is aiming to raise fresh capital in the month of December 2011.

The chief executive cum MD of the bank, Mr Amitabh Chaturvedi has however not disclosed of the route to be adopted by the bank in the capital raising process and also not given any idea on the amount of capital that would be raised.

Speaking on employee protests and questions being raised, Chaturvedi said, "Their grudge is that we do not permit new employees to become members of the union. The campaign seems to be handiwork of some misguided employees and some outsiders. We are examining how we can get to the next level of legal action."
