Base rate hiked by IOB

Public sector lender Indian Overseas Bank has announced a hike in its base rate from 10% to 10.25%.

The revised rates have come into effect from today, July 01, 2011.

The bank has also raised its benchmark prime lending rate (BPLR) from 14.25% to 14.50%.
