The largest European bank in terms of deposits, BNP Paribas is planning to focus more on its Indian operations and has also set a 10 member advisory board for the same. The board is set to help the bank in focusing better on its Indian operations and also aid in its efforts towards corporate social responsibility. "The advisory board will give us more insight into the financial needs of the country and economy trends. The creation of the board is a clear confirmation that India for BNP Paribas is a very important market," said Baudouin Prot, CEO and member, group executive committee of BNP Paribas. Mr Prot is in India to be part of BNP Paribas' 150th anniversary events. Seeing the high growth trend of the economy, the group expects revenues doubling in the next five to ten years.
