It has been reported that Bank of India has decided to establish more branches and hire more employees in the bank. The bank wanted to expand its network over 5,450 and hire 1,000 probationary officers and 3,500 clerical personnel.

Chairperson of bank stated that currently bank is having a network of 4,655 branches, bank is planning to expand it up to 5450 by the end of this fiscal year. In order to run and handle these branches bank will require staff so bank will be hiring 1,000 PO and 3,500 clerical. Currently bank is having a global business of more than Rs 8.53 lakh crore.

As per the RBI rules and inflation bank will also try to reduce the interest rates on the loan products for the people. ATMs of the bank will also be enabled with the Instant money Transfer facility. By the end of March next year bank will also set up 3,335 new ATM machines as well.
