Camp for financial literacy by RBI at Kanpur Mahotsav

The Kanpur Mahotsav in Kanpur is also experiencing a financial literacy camp being organised by Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur. The main motive of the apex bank in organizing the camp has been to educate people about importance and role of financial literacy in daily lives.

Through this camp, the apex bank aims to educate people with its multifaceted roles and schemes operational under it. Schemes of the likes of banking Ombudsman scheme, young scholar scheme, summer placement scheme, non-banking financial companies etc have been highlighted specially in the camp.

All visitors are also made aware about practising due diligence while dealing with NBFCs.

Apart from distributing handouts on financial literacy to the public, the central bank also arranged for exchange facility for fresh notes and coins. The camp is going to continue till December 5.
