Dhanlaxmi Bank brings out retail products

Private sector lender, Dhanlaxmi Bank has brought out a set of retail asset products. The new products come in line with the bank's aim of focusing more on retail banking.

The bank's loan book is expected to be built of 30% of retail banking portfolios in this financial year. According to bank official, these retail products stand as phase II of the retail lending business of the bank. Phase I has been marked as the occasion where credit cards were launched by the bank.

The retail asset book of the bank will comprise of mortgage instruments, equipement and auto loan segments, gold loans and many more. The retial asset products are expected to bring a significant rise in the retail loan book of the bank.

According to Dhanlaxmi Bank MD and CEO Amitabh Chaturvedi, the move has been a part of the bank's grand strategy of being a big ene to end financial services provider across all segments of banking.

The bank currently has 271 branches in the country and 400 ATMs spread across 14 states and 136 centers.
