Eight customer points set up by SBI in Madurai

The largest lender of the country, State Bank of India has set up eight customer points in Madurai region so as to aid business correspondents (BCs) in their financial inclusion aims.

The centers were inaugurated by Mr Joseph Mathew, DGM, Rural Business-Outreach, Tamil Nadu, State Bank of India via video conferencing at Uthenagudi, Puthuthamaraipatti, Thirumogur, Rajakkur, Kottaimedu, Kondaiampatti, Thenkarai and Kutradampatti.

The customer points have a computer or laptop provided to the business correspondent who is trained well for his job.
