Private sector lender, HDFC Bank has bagged the award for the best retail bank of India. The award has been given by Asian Banker.

The bank has revceived this award after beating competitors from all over Asia Pacific, Middle-East, Central Asia and Africa. The banks were judged on a wide range of parameters before coming to the final conclusion.

The competition saw participation from more than 150 financial institutions from more than 29 countries.
