HDFC bank to help dairy Farmers in Rajasthan

A leading private sector bank of the country – HDFC bank expanded its reach and yesterday the bank reached out a number of unbanked dairy farmers in Rajasthan. Over there bank introduced the farmers with latest banking facilities including facility of banking at door to them, digital banking services and micro ATMs.

It was reported that many farmers are unable to get credit as they fail to meet the criteria for loans under Kisan Credit Card Scheme. The bank wanted to help such farmers. The bank initiated a new scheme ‘Milk to money’ program for them. Through which bank will offer the credit facilities to them.

The bank took 240 members of Nindola Mahila Dugdh Udpadak Samiti under the 'milk-to-money' programme. The bank will work for these dairy farmers ensuring that they get the banking products and services.
