Indian Bank eyes biz of Rs Rs 1.85 lakh this FY

Public sector lender, Indian Bank is aiming to attain total business worth Rs 1.85 lakh crore in this fiscal, said TM Bhasin, Chairmand and MD of the bank.

"The bank's total business stood at Rs 1.68 lakh crore in the half year ended September 2010 and we are aiming to touch Rs 1.85 lakh crore at the end of this financial year," Bhasin said.

Bhasin said so while inaugurating a relocated branch of the bank which is one of its oldest established in 1948.
