Private sector, ING Vysya Bank's Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Vaughn Richtor resigned from his post on the completion of three years tenure and two months extension on April 6th, 2009.

As of now the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jayant Mehrota will be in charge until a new CEO is appointed. "Pending the appointment of a new CEO, current chief financial officer Jayant Mehrota will be the officer-in-charge, to look after the day-to-day operations in the bank," said the bank said in a statement.

Mehrota will report to the Chairman of ING Vysya Bank's Corporate Governance Committee, Philippe Damas, who is a head of a committee of three Board members with an active management oversight role. The committee has been constituted to look after the operations in the absence of the Managing Director and CEO.

In February 2006, Richtor joined ING Vysya Bank and is now moving onto to another management role within the ING Group.
