Micro, small and medium scale enterprises (MSMEs) are on to get better benefits from SIDBI with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi) planning to give its lending process to them a re-touch.

SIDBI is aiming to offer assistance both in terms of equity and quasi equity to the MSMEs.

Another benefit coming for MSMEs is the Flexible Assistance for Capital Expenditure (FACE) scheme which SIDBI is aiming to bring about soon.

The most common difficulty these small enterprises face is in getting adequate working capital; the reason being insufficient assets available to be kept as security.

FACE will focus more on the cash flow structure of the firm than its ability to keep ample security. Repayment in installments will also reduce the burden on the firms and enhance their probability of success.
