The largest lender of the country, State Bank of India has reached new heights of innovation. The bank has introduced the first NRI facilitation center in the country at Hyderabad. The center, along with offering a big range of services will also offer matrimonial assistance to NRI clients.

The bank had also set up a branch to cater to the ultra HNI clientele' in Hyderabad, a few months back.

According to deputy Managing Director of the bank, Shiva Kumar said that the bank has made agreements with various service providers regarding the diverse facilities to be offered by it like payment of water tax, income tax, telephone bill, getting medicines or sending flowers to their dear ones and even matrimonial service.

"We maintain an internal database of prospective grooms and brides for matrimonial services. Depending on the interest of the parents, matching will be done and names will be suggested," Shiva Kumar said.

The service will be a 24X7 one across different branches of the bank. The Hyderabad office will act as controlling hub of the activities.
