New MD for Maha State Coop Bank soon

The Maharastra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) is soon to get a new managing director, informed minister for cooperatives, Mr. Harshawardhan Patil.

The bank's board has been dissolved recently by Reserve Bank of India.

Speaking on the issue, Patil said, "The high-power committee has decided to appoint a full-time managing director for the MSCB."

"The Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank has a bigger role in the state's development and the government is positively thinking about reviving it, he added.
