Public sector lender State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur is planning to come up with a premium banking center in Jaipur in order to cater to the premium clientele' of the bank. The rapidly rising number of high net worth individual (HNI) clients has led the bank to think of this move. The count of HNI clients in India has almost doubled itself in number to around 126700 in the year 2010, say reports by Capgemini and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. The banking center of SBBJ will have similar designing pattern as that of State Bank of India's premium banking center in Hyderabad called ‘Kohinoor Banjara'. "We will be setting up the branch over 4,000 sq.ft in Jaipur. Though the branch will be based in Jaipur, it will, however, act as a national outfit with specialised officers at designated branches across the country," said Mr Shiva Kumar, Managing Director, SBBJ. "We will provide additional services as per clients' requirements. For instance: if a customer wants a floral bouquet to be delivered or wants someone to be picked up from the airport then we will give the service at an additional fee," Mr Kumar said. The center will provide 24 hours service.
