Employees of the largest lender of the country, State Bank of India are going for a two day strike from November 25th. The decision for the same has been taken by The All-India State Bank Officers' Federation and All-India State Bank of India Staff Federation.

The strike will take place on the 25th and 26th of this month. The main motive behind the same is fulfillment of demands of the employees.

The demands encompass issues like receipt as pay of the undistributed part of the 17.5%wage cost to employees as well as officers.

Along with this is the demand for additional payment as well as allowance to both employees and officers which is equal to the cost incurred by the industry towards an alternative option on pension scheme.

Retirement benefits also need to be improvised, says the federation.
