Officials of public sector lender State Bank of Travancore were addressed recently by banking ombudsman for Kerala circle, Mr F R Joseph. The ombudsman talked to the officials in regard with several customer grievance issues arising in present times and their suitable modes of redressal. According to a spokesperson, Joseph spoke in detail about recommendations set by the Damodaran Committee Report about Customer Service. The main idea behind recommendations offered by the committee includes involving a customer oriented approach while gearing up to changes occuring in great pace in the banking industry. The function was presided by Mr S. Balachandran, Managing Director in-charge, SBT.
