Foreign player Standard Chartered Bank has hinted on selecting Sandeep Das as head of its private banking business in India, reported sources.

With this appointment, it will be the second appointment in top positions in the consumer banking segment of the bank in this month.

In the beginning of this month, the bank appointed Sanjeeb Chaudhuri as regional head of the south asian business of the bank as well as group chief marketing officer for consumer banking.

Chaudhuri was previously working with Citibank before joining the StanChart league.

Das is currently handling premium banking business of StanChart.
