Syndicate Bank establishes fin inclusion branch

Public sector lender, Syndicate Bank has set up special branch targetting only financial inclusion at Padesur Village in Dharwad district in Hubli.

With this, the bank has taken its branch count in Hubli region to eight.

At the inaugural function, Mr Srikanth B Kulagod, assistant general manager at Syndicate Bank, Hubli Regional Office said that the bank is "Small Men's Big Bank" and focuses deeply on upliftment of the poorer sections through several of its loan schemes.

He said the special financial inclusion branch has been set up to aid the rural people in banking facilities.
