Public sector lender Union Bank of India and the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) have tied up in order to enable centralized disbursement of salary to the employees of the Sangathan. The two entities have thus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard in the presence of Minister of State for HRD D Purandeswari and the bank's chairman-cum-managing director M V Nair. The bank, through its web portal will enable in salary disbursement of all 56000 employees of KVS. The process will bring about more 'transparency' in the school system, said Nair.
