Mangalore based, public sector lender, Corporation Bank has opened two new branches in state of Karnataka.

The bank has set up one branch in Kanakapura (Ramangar district) and other at Rajanukunte.

Both the new branches are on core banking solution platform.

The state-run bank has a network of 943 branches, besides 35 extension counters and 19 currency chests across the country.

Recently, the bank revealed its plans to expand its ATM network in places where other banks do not have presence.

The bank has plans to set up more than 100 ATMs during this financial year, after the regulator permitted commercial banks to set up off-site ATMs in its annual monetary policy.

The bank has an existing network of about 1,035 ATMs.
