To increase and enhance the banking facilities across the country, the Union govt. has launched a Sampoorna Vittiya Samaveshan Mission. As per this program there will be 2 saving accounts in each family of the district. One account for the male and one for the female.

This program will come into action by 27 of this month, the program not only aims to open bank accounts but will also enable the people to access the various pension and insurance services. It would be ensured that within 5 kms of each house there is one banking centre. To accomplish this banks will be requiring the support of Akshaya centers.

The one who will complete the entire financial literacy program will be provided with an overdraft of Rs 5,000. ATM cards will be provided to all the account holders. All the houses and areas deprived of banking services will be provided with the banking facilities through this. As many as 149 banking sub-service centres will be opened at Akshaya centres across the district.
