Indian Bank offers manager’s post to CA topper

All India Chartered Accountancy exam topper, Ms. Prema Jayakumar has been offered a manager's post in Indian Bank. It is one of the rare direct appointment offers made by any public sector banks.

Mr. Vipon Malhotra, General Manager (Mumbai Zone), Indian Bank has handed over the appointment letter to Ms. Prema on Thursday.

The Chennai headquartered Indian Bank has offered Ms. Prema a position of her choice after she is done with her training in the bank.

Mostly, Public sector undertakings, including banks, do not conduct written exam and interview. Only in exceptional cases the interviews are held.

Meanwhile, political parties in Tamil Nadu are to felicitate the young achiever. On Thursday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to Ms. Prema.
