Union Bank of India inaugurated Xperience branch in Kolkata

The public sector lender, Union Bank of India inaugurated its 181st Union Xperience branch in Kolkata on Monday. This will be the seventh Xperience branch in the city.

Union Xperience branches are the bank's initiative to bring superior customer experience for its customers. The bank has introduced automation through cheque deposit machines, pass book printers and queue management. It has also completely revamped the sales and service model in these branches, said a bank press statement.

Mr. D Sarkar, Chairman and Managing Director of Union Bank said that the bank has also launched its green banking service at the branch. Customers in Union Xperience branch will not need any pay-in slips or withdrawal forms for cash and transfer transactions.

The bank has opened such branches in 16 cities as of now. And the bank also aims to open 250 branches by March-end and also plans to bring all its metro and urban branches under Union Xperience roll-out.
